Steph strutting her stuff on the catwalk in the fashion show, this was to raise money for a school wiped out by the tsunami.
Steph and Jayde making choc chip cookies , they were so scrummy, they just didn't last long enough.
here is steph ready to have her taxi take her to the valantines disco at school.

whats been going on

there has been so much going on that life in our house is very hectic at the moment.Jamie is trying to figure out what options he is going to take which is not going well. Snow

Well i waited with baited breath as i opened the curtains this morning waiting for the blanket of snow. There was none, a flutter had fallen but all that was left was a bit on the car. The roads were not even icy as i set off with the dogs at some ungodly hour this morning.
I have had to start work at 7.30am this week as one of our staff Doug is on holiday and muggins here is doing the early morning shift. Andy has generously got up with me to take them for a walk, but was not to impressed this morning . Walking along the beach at 6.30am is not his idea of FUN. Still it is so relaxing there is no-one around , peacefull and you can get your head together before hitting the rat race for the day. They have said the snow is definately on it's way, but hopefully it will not lay as my road is lethal, all hills and bends,i think Andy will be doing the dropping off with kids tommorow.

bread

I know very sad but I HAVE MADE BREAD, i have bought myself a breadmaker, there is nothing so fantastic as fresh bread wafting through the house. So far i have made a brown granery loaf, cheese and onion loaf and tommorow i am going to try a garlic loaf.
I have always wanted one of these but they have been a bit out of my price range, so we got them in at work for £20. what the heck i just had to have one to try . I have now decided i have to try every recipe in the book.will keep you updated as they turn out, i actually got 2 perfect loaves for my first attempts so i am now well and truly hooked............

I have Andy towering over me saying where is my card. well i got a beautifull card this morning from him , but guess what ..... yep, i had got his ages ago and while making the coffee this morning i went to get it and it wasn't there. I had forgotten where i had put it. So sorry sweetheart you haven't got one this year but you don't need a card to tell you how much I LOVE YOU.xxxxxxxx

a good weekend

Saturday Andy took the kids swimming for me as i had to go into work for some overtime as they were short staffed on my dept.
Jamie sat for us on Sat night and Andy and I went out on the town with some freinds of ours. We had a great night, starting off with a fantastic Italian, then onto a few pubs with a few games of pool, and then onto the late night venue where we could have a bit of a boogie, well Wendy and i could . we happily left the men talking and we went and strutted our stuff.
We have definately decided we are now a bit to old to start getting in at 2am in the morning and then have to be up by 7am today.
I was having the day off from rugby while stef went to freinds, Andy and Jamie had a match and i went to a dog show with a freind of mine. The kids are happily wide awake while poor Andy and i are just wanting to go to sleep, so i think an early night is in order for them and so we can then just collapse. i hate it that we are getting old!!!!!!!!

dreaded school letters

Don't you just hate it when you walk through the door and behold the post thank god are not bills but then a dreaded letter from your son's school . Don't get me wrong i do not get many of these at all and feel very lucky i have such a good child, but when one comes i think oh no , whats he done.
Well this one was the homework one, well where was the non existant homework and listed for me to see was all the work he was mean't to do. Five questions in all, so after a breif shouting match from me and shouts and rebellion from Jamie we came to a normal level of talking. One of these he has handed in, another he was sick and wasn't even at school and so for the last 3 questions we are now sitting at the kitchen table duly doing what he should have done in the first place.
The trouble is when we dutifully ask our children do they have any homework do we believe them or do we search them asking for evidence. He is now grounded, that he hates,he was meant to be going to a mates on Friday as he has no school, but this is now dabateable we will have to see how we go, and how much he can redeem himself.

You

You never do a stitch of work
you lick the faces of complete strangers
with the sole intention of underlining my
own social inhibitions

Sometimes you smell like old red wine,
a bouquet of damp fur.

Not only are you colour-blind,you also
cannot tell the difference between a carpet
and a couch.

You pretend that you find the word "NO"
incomprehensible. You insist on sharing
your unmelodious bark with the
entire neighbourhood.

For some reason, you are afraid of statues.
statues just freak you out.

You are utterly shameless.

You are the laziest, dirtiest, most stubborn
and presumpuous thing i have ever known
in my whole entire life.

I THINK YOU ARE PERFECT

iT'S A DOG THING

this was sent today to me from a fellow dog lover........"pedigree" and you don't get much bigger than that.

a busy sunday

I love my weekends , i spend my extra time with the kids and Andy, but this Sunday it had to go to pot. Well actually it started on Saturday.Andy and Jamie went to watch Quinns rugby team play as they are season ticket holders, Stephanie was ill, and i had 2 dog beds to make, Yes!!!! another job i do ,now make that 4 jobs i have in total.I spent most of the day either walking my two dogs and the rest making beds for a friend of mine , i then had to make 2 new covers for my 2 .Along with that i had to prepare all the roast dinner for Sunday as i had to go to work in the afternoon.
Sunday comes and we all trot off to the rugby club, i do my bits ,Andy coaches ,Stephanie does the tuck shop and i then get changed and head off to work. The best bit was Andy with instruction made the rest of the dinner and as i walked through the door, the lovely smell of a roast , 5 minuets later i was happily sat at the table eating, so thanks sweetheart for the dinner and for doing the ironing and running the kids around for me and the dogs.
