Another Loss

All the lads had a rugby match at New Milton today, luckily it was a lovely sunny morning which made up for the awfull game that was played. I felt so sorry for poor Andy who has coached these lads all season, putting in lots of his own free time rushing around to help them. All they could do out on the field this morning was look half asleep , which of course was what they were.The couldn't pass, they couldn't run, and least of all they couldn't even hold a tackle.
Not all the screeming of ecouragement from all us mums could not get them going today. I think i can safely say it was probably the worst game yet. I will seriously think about staying in bed the next game they play, which is where i would much rather be on a Sunday morning.....
I think Andy has now decided to take next season out, not coach and also give up being Vice chair of the junior club. It will be so nice just to become a parent again, this season has seemed to take up so much of our time, although i have yet to try and get out of doing the kit next , then we really can have a year off.......

cars

As Andy happily put me right on his comments to my blog, i do not have the same model of car as his new one, also if it been clean i would have been able to tell the difference between black and blue.
To his darling reply of i can clean my own bloody car, i shall indeed remind him of all the times my car was indeed needed when we needed the larger boot for either rugby or going on holidays. Anyway he should love me enough to wash my car as isn't this mean't to be a man thing for the weekends.
I knew i should have had it hand washed while at Tescos doing the shopping earlier today, they have this great little service, while you shop they go and clean your car for you, now i suppose i shall just have to do it myself tommorow.

New car

Andy picked up his new car tonight. he decided to be a copycat and get a newer version of mine. He now has a vauxall estate, mine is red of course and Andy's is black.
He has now got to decide what he is going to do with his Rover, But at least now i will have another car big enough to put the dogs in if i ever need to borrow it. May post a pic when he has cleaned it.......and with any luck he might just do mine as well.

who said two can't share, Here are my boys, they have 3 beds between them but still have to share ain't love and friendship grand....

I am a happy bunny again, the panto last night was not as bad as it could have been, but Nardia was still crap.....
Today i did retail therapy in a major way to make up for yesterday, Andy said he was sorry and did all the housework and ironing for me so things are definately looking up.
Well what did i buy......What didn't i buy

1.... New underwear.
2.... New nightwear.
3...Necklace and matching earings.
4....New dark brown hipster cords.
5...Brown and brass big buckle belt to go with them.
6...New shirt to go with cords.
7...Two new tops.
8...new sunglasses.
9....New long length black italian leather boots.

As you can see i'm now retail therapied out . Oh i forgot two new dresses to send to Samantha for Amelie.....

It is my birthday today as you can tell, and i have reached the right old age of 42, My friends did me proud buying me lots of nice expensive smellies, to indulge myself with, If it was not that then the odd bottle of wine has appeared to quench my thirst with, and my good friend Samantha's parcel arrived from New York today filled with lots of goodies.
Stephanie gave me in a beautifull bag with baited breath while i opened it, Two new cd's , first i thought great 2 new shania twain cd's but no when quickly informed by loving daughter they were the ones she had borrowed last year and thought i may like them back for my birthday. To make up for this enclosed was also a large kingsize milk choc bar............I do love my daughter. I then asked Jamie what he got me and to which his reply was , It was that choc bar i bought you earlier in the week. Ok fine i still love my son.....Well now to the biggie, what i got from Andy this morning, Zilsh!!!!!!! he couldn't think of what to get me as i had earlier bought myself the Vin diesal box set of pitch black.Ok so after 16 years of marriage a box of maltesers would have done ,.....just something to unwrap........I just hope he doesn't get me some flowers from the garage on the way home otherwise i'm not to sure if i will love my hubby today......

keep me warm

It was so cold last night i just couldn't get warm, I snuggled down under my fluffy quilt, daring Andy to move so he wouldn't create a draft.You know the one when a tiny pocket of air gets between you and your quilt and so there you are cold again. Well while watching tv in bed, i had to move. Total horror i was going to get cold so conversation went something like this.....

Me.... I have to get up a minute.

Andy.....Go on then.

Me... I will, but i'll get cold.

Andy....AND !!!!

Me ... so when i move can you get over my side and keep it warm for me....

Andy....Yey right then my side will get cold.

Me.... But if you love me !!!!!you will do it for me.

Andy ...Ok ! and dutifully moves over to my side of the bed, keeps it beautifully warm and then as i slither back in he moves back to his side.

My hubby loves me, he is my hot water bottle and to show how much i love him i then put my feet up against him to a yelp of YOUR FEET ARE BLOODY FREEZING but still he lets me keep them there...... How lucky am i........

less than a week

It is now less than a week to my birthday, it is on Friday and so i have treated myself and the rest of the family to some tickets to the Panto. The only drawback being is since i got the tickets a new person has been put into performing. This person being Nardia ( winner of last years big brother).You know the one, it's the man that now has a pair of boobs but still has the other qualities of a man.
Now let me put this straight it's up to this person of which sex they would like to be, BUT putting them in a panto which is mean't to be for all the family to view is a no no in my book. The main reason for me saying this is, Jamie who is nearly 14 can appreciate what this is, but if he opens his mouth and tells Stephanie who is 10, i am then put into the situation of explaining it to her.The worst of it is most people i have spoken to that have been to see it, have said that He/she was totaly crap.
We have decided to still go but if it turns out to be as bad as people have said we shall leave and a stern letter will follow to the theatre, especially as i booked the most expensive seating that there was, just so the kids would be able to see everything. Wish me luck for Friday...

Sorry folks but i had to put this one in of Bruno doing a very good impression of a bat....Later he had gone so far over on the setee he fell off.

This is the new outfit which mum bought while still recovering from New Years Eve. I was definately done as this was much more expensive than the jumper must have been.Still it was worth it as i think she looks fab, girls just grow up far to fast nowadays, it's hard to think she is only 10yr old.

my dear very loud kids

I am desperately doing my bit on the computer tonight , and in the background all i have are two growling dogs, two screeming kids and the program i was, repeat" was" trying to listen to. Do i do the real hard mum bit and shout and scream at them to just shut-up or do i ask them nicely that it is my lounge and my space not their bl**dy playground......
Right i am now back with peace and quiet, i did the hard mum thing. Now all i have to do is tell the puppy that it is now time to stop.Unfortunately this is not working well, they have him so worked up, play mode is definately in......With a very hard stare at Jamie , you know the one The "mummy stare" jamie has quickly left the room calling both dogs to now go and annoy Andy in the kitchen..
At last they have now both gone upstairs , peace reins in my lounge but my whole train of thought has gone so i really can't remember what i was going to write , so i shall turn this off and go and watch my program............then later i will be the good mum again and have kisses and cuddles just before bed.........

Keep Fit

Why is it that as soon as Christmas is over, Every other new dvd out is a keep fit exersise program,each one saying their's is the best and this one is sure to work. Pictures of this is what you could look like in under 4 weeks.
Well after deliberating over the many to choose from i have come up with ideal solution.....

If after Christmas and you are over 25 and you are thinking of all the calories after that 3rd helping of pudding......This is the exersise program for you...

you might want to take it easy at first, then do it faster as you get more proficient.

It may be too strenuouse for some.

Always consult your doctor before starting any exersise program...

another loss

The poor lads had to play a really good team today. They went out in good form, shirts beautifully clean, boots shining, unfortunately this did not help and we truly lost again. But saying that at least we did get 1 try against the other team, so it was not a total shambles. It did get a bit energetic in places and a few deliberate stomps were seen and a few punches were done but overall it was a good fast game.
Us poor mums braved the cold ,the wind and a bit of rain,We screemed our encouragement, we jumped up and down, as usuall we told the ref he needed glasses( this is sometimes Andy) the dogs strained at their leads to go and help, but still it was no help. We have decided maybe if we got the lads a load of sexy cheerleaders at the oppositions try line we may get somewhere,their reply to this was no " food " what can i say teenage boys and their stomachs....

big cat week

I don't know if anyone has been watching big cat week on bbc 1 this week, Jamie and i having this conversation tonight went like this.....The part where the large 2 male lions went to relax after eating , lay down head back, bag legs flopped open and gums flopping open onto the ground . Picture this and then the conversation.......

Jamie...... Because he works hard,gets the woman to get the food, eats the food then goes and flops down and falls asleep.....

Me..... Oh Jamie bless you, but i don't think your Dad would be to impressed with that....

Jamie ... Yeh, he would mum it's what he does....

Later telling Andy this conversation his reaction was... That's not true and reminded him of who had gone out and picked up take-away tonight, Yep that is Andy's version of providing "our pride" with food.......

My pals Birthday

It is my old pals Len's birthday tommorow , so this post is dedicated to him.
We hope he has a great day with his family over there in belgium where he lives with his wife Amber and their kids.I have known Len for over 20 years which is a hell of a long time to stay friends, but still 20 yrs later we are still there , the group of us that were around at college i stiill keep in contact with , Samantha, Chris and a few others.
So my dear pal have a great day tommorow no doubt you will have a drink or two and Andy and i will have one over our neck of the woods for you .......

I made Rice

I know , you are thinking weird title, but it was a milestone in our house today. I will admit quite openly that I have never managed the art of cooking perfect rice. So today along with my tefal steamer I begin, now Bruno who is a bit under the weather and has a bit of a dickey tummy would only be able to have rice and chicken.
After finding the instruction manual I set off and so 40mins later I go and take a look, it looked as if it should, and even tasted dam good, I got Andy to check as he is the rice cook in my house. In the immortal words from him ... She has done it .....I have at last cooked the perfect rice . No longer will it be like stodge...or even rice pudding or at its worst not even cooked. I cooked it , I conquered
i am now supreme......Although Andy's only takes 10 mins

i have been good today

Today being the usual sunday we go to rugby, get loads of good fresh air , run the dogs ragged, Andy and Jamie train hard while i look on drinking my nice hot cup of coffee.
Andy and Jamie then went up to London to watch the Quinns play and Steph and i got on with taking all the decorations down,we did realy well and have now put the house back to it's original order. Her friends are now over creating lots of mess and deciding that one is now coming for another sleepover, meanwhile i am cooking yummy crispy duck, so Steph and i will sit down soon to crispy duck pancakes and salad.The smell is wafting through my house as i type this and so not having eaten properly , i can't wait to get stuck in . I only hope Jamie and Andy have eaten something as i haven't done them any.... cruel wife and mum i know but hey we got left alone so what is a girl to do.....

Tipsy head

Last night was a very good night and i did myself proud, For the first time since Andy and i met he actually saw me ill from drink, it was my own fault i decided to drink baileys as per usual but one of the kids said to me down this , and so stuppidly without much notice i did. Upon finding later it was a glass of ouzo not a good mix with my drink.So lying in bed with the room moving around me i was ill.... you know what i mean.
This morning with a slightly thuddy head i eventually took the dogs for the walk and also as to not dissapoint Steph Andy and i took her into town to buy her a new outfit, well actually it should have been just a jumper. Stephanie got a beautifull pale pink one for christmas, off the shoulders I lovingly washed it and told andy to take the washing out. Bless him he did all this and then yep you guessed it put it in the tumble dryer. Well when i came home from work and folded it all up, to my utter shock it was shrunk to a near barbie size. Andy poor thing after much of me shouting at him, was told he could go and tell his poor daughter of the mishap , i stayed well clear.....
After the events of today with me not being on top form Steph did very well. She came home with whole new outfit. Skirt,top,jacket and a pair of realy cool suede boots.Somehow i think this cost a hell of a lot more than the jumper did...... Please remind me to give Andy lessons on the use of tumble dryers so we don't have any more future mishaps.......
