D-day

Well tommorow is the options evening at Jamie's school. Andy and i are going to see if we can try and decifer the booklet the school have given us. It was so different when i was choosing my options, there was not half the subjects to choose from then. This booklet we were given by the school, you need a degree to understand it, let alone try and fill in all your choices.
We think we have now cracked it with a little help from my friend Stuart who works at our local city college. We go and visit the school and now have to thrash it out with the teachers, give them Jamie's choices and let them work it out how that is going to fit into their timetable. Exuse my language but trying to sort this out at the age of 13 is basically CRAP. What child knows what he or she wants to do job wise for the rest of their lives and one wrong decission could change their whole complex of choices when it is time to go to college to try and get the rest of their exams for a job.
While at the point of also trying to choose their options the poor kids are also expected to be revising for their sats exams , how much pressure do they want to put these poor kids under, let alone the parents helping as much as possible.
